What is Automation and what it does?

Advanced automation allows you to create a targeted set of actions that gets executed when triggered by a set of rules or based on a field value change. eg: Being notified when a deal is closed, Getting an email when a lead hasn’t been updated for 10 days, or being notified when a high-value property is available in your system.

You can select from a list of actions to be performed when a record matches the criteria and is triggered. You can also define a list of recipients to notify when the event occurs.

Please be careful when setting up new automation rules. Automation is a powerful feature that can automate many workflows and save time. However, certain rules can potentially update a lot of your data so please double check your rules before activating them.
